Possible to stablish metrics of spanish knols?
Any standard method of consultation in google to know the number of knol metrics in spanish?
Alejandro Melo-Florián - 14 Jun 2011http://www.quantcast.com is giving only visits of knol.google.com It is giving daily 20,000 visits as maximum.
Based on this publicly available figure, I feel immediate target for knol authors will be to double this figure. Based on this US 20,000 number we may think global number is 200,000. So doubling US number means global visits will go up to 400,000 giving page views of 600,000.
Of course all are estimates.
I think there are around 600,000 knols and the breakup I got is a good approximation for it.
Google persons are not talking to any one on Knol. They are speaking as required on other platforms like adsense forums, blogger forums etc. Even there they come very infrequently and allowing co-users to answer many queries.
On Knol the main issue we can see is low performance. I think daily page views will be around 300,000. That will give a revenue of maximum $300 per day. $9000 per month. What sort of personal attention will be given to such product. But I feel now the situation is good for doubling the daily performance to 600,000 page view per day and from there we can move to one million page views per day. That will be a respectable performance and once that is achieved, platform and authors will get a lot of respect from all. Hope it happens quickly

By metrics I mean the figures of knol in spanish, appearances/consultations of knols in spanish language in a period of time. For instance, in Google (11 Jun 2011) using search terms knol "idioma español" it appears 34700 entries.
